About Us
Long before attending medical school, I was a breast-feeding, un-medicated childbirth, organic gardening, organic cooking Mom. As a Family Doc I focused on health and prevention, always seeking to minimize the use of chemical drugs. As my husband and I fought his cancer for a year, I learned more and more about the dangers of chemical food additives & pesticides as well as the importance of a healthy immune system. After losing Bill, I moved back to my adopted home of New England, seeking a semi-rural area with acreage where I could raise chickens and pursue my intense interests in prevention, sustainable living/farming and supporting local artisans. I hope to develop a B&B at my log home. It will be names Elim Lodge B&B…thus my farmlet’s name: Elim Lodge Farm.
